Surveys show that Smartphone ratings are becoming better with each passing year. Smartphones are more than just a talking device. They are far superior to basic mobile phones. They have a lot of applications, built-in features, with enhanced connectivity, with instant access to the internet, more entertainment and behave like a miniature personal computer. Or maybe it is a personal computer which can also make calls? No wonder the Smartphone ratings are good! Mobile phones market may be falling but the Smartphone business is booming. Each year shows a significant increase in Smartphone users not only in the United States but all over the world. Smartphone applications and the devices supporting it are predicted to raise over 140 million by 2013. A survey conducted by In-Stat shows consumers who are willing to buy Smartphones keeps increasing year by year. In 2007, 6% said that their next phone will be a Smartphone but the same survey taken in 2008 shows 32% who said yes to Smartphones. The ratings for Smartphones will keep going up as new features and third party applications or apps keep developing. IPhones have better Smartphone ratings than other Smartphones because of AppStore.
